For over three decades, Ellen has championed the Harness Horse Youth Foundation (HHYF), initially as a camp coordinator and later as its executive director. After graduating from Nova Southeastern University with dual majors in Biology and Neuroscience, she took a chance on a photography position at Pompano Park. This decision led to a flourishing career where she now captures daily moments at Saratoga, sharing updates and candid photos that highlight the best aspects of the sport. Jessica’s work has earned her multiple accolades, including three USHWA Dan Patch Awards in 2023.

Kim Rinker, the recipient of the Clyde Hirt Media Award, has left an indelible mark on harness racing journalism. With a background in journalism and film, Kim has authored numerous books and managed several industry publications. Her work spans writing for Hoof Beats, Horsemen & Fair World, and other notable platforms. Kim’s leadership roles include serving as the President and Life Member of the US Harness Writers Association. She has also managed websites and publicity for various racetracks. Kim’s extensive bibliography includes titles such as "Chicago’s Horse Racing Venues" and "Arlington Park Racetrack." Through her tireless efforts, Kim has not only documented but also celebrated the rich history and vibrant culture of harness racing, ensuring its legacy endures for future generations.
