Wildcats End Six-Game Road Trip Against 15th-Ranked Baylor

The ACU Wildcats are set to conclude their six-game road swing on Monday night as they make their first visit to the Foster Pavilion to face the 15th-ranked Baylor Bears. Tipoff is at 7 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network and 101.7 FM The Patriot.

The Wildcats have had an eventful road trip, playing games in Georgia, Montana, Nebraska, and New Mexico. They currently hold a 3-2 record and are on a two-game winning streak. Their recent victory over New Mexico State was a dominant display, shooting over 70 percent from the floor in the second half and living at the free throw line. Hunter Jack Madden was a key player, hitting three 3-pointers and converting one into a four-point play. He led all scorers with 24 points on 6 of 10 shooting (5 of 8 from 3-point range). Quion Williams also had a great game, scoring 20 points, grabbing eight rebounds, and dishing out three assists in 31 minutes of hard work. Bettiol added 16 points and four rebounds.Another player making an impact is Leonardo Bettiol. As a junior forward, he has scored at least 16 points in each of the five games on the current road swing, including 18 at Kennesaw State, 17 vs. Southern Miss, 18 at Montana State, 19 at Nebraska-Omaha, and 16 at New Mexico State. He leads the Wildcats in scoring at 15.0 ppg.Oklahoma State transfer Quion Williams has been a standout. He is second in scoring (14.1 points per game) and the team's leading rebounder (5.3 rpg). Wright III was a highly touted high school player last year at Montverde Academy in Pennsylvania and is teammates with Duke freshman Cooper Flagg.
