The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team recently concluded a successful outing at the UNC Wilmington (UNCW) Tournament, showcasing their talent and determination on the court. Over the three-day event, the Spartans secured an impressive array of singles and doubles victories, solidifying their position as a formidable force in the collegiate tennis landscape.

Doubles Dominance
The Spartans' doubles teams displayed exceptional teamwork and coordination throughout the tournament. Ella Olexa and Elisabeth Birkevold teamed up to secure a decisive 6-0 victory over Sandra Riecken and Courtney Howell of Mount Olive, while Raegan Mitchell and Sydney Bly defeated Victoria Calle and Nina Bernier of Mount Olive 6-1. Olivia Gallagher and Alexandra Dodashev also emerged victorious, defeating Lara Stamereilers and Simone Szovan of Mount Olive 7-6 (4). Despite some close losses against formidable opponents from Campbell and Seton Hall, the Spartans' doubles performances showcased their ability to adapt and compete at the highest level.Singles Standouts

Olexa and Birkevold both secured impressive wins, with Olexa defeating Aili Hietala of Seton Hall 6-4, 6-0, and Birkevold overcoming Isabelle May of Seton Hall 4-6, 6-4 (10-5). Gallagher and Dodashev also made their mark, with Gallagher defeating Stamereilers of Mount Olive 7-5, 6-4, and Dodashev cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Calle of Mount Olive.
