Alabama A&M's women's tennis team is all set to embark on an exciting spring season. With a carefully crafted schedule featuring both Conference USA and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents, the Bulldogs are ready to make their mark on the tennis court.

Opening the Spring Campaign

Alabama A&M kicks off the spring season with a challenging match against Mississippi State in Starkville on January 31. This is the first step towards their goal of a successful season. The team has been working hard during the fall and is eager to showcase their skills.The Bulldogs' home opener on February 8 against Jacksonville State will be a moment to remember. It gives the local fans a chance to support their team and witness the start of another great season.

Valentine's Day Weekend Trips

Over the Valentine's Day weekend, Alabama A&M heads to Chattanooga, Tennessee to take on Presbyterian and UT Chattanooga. These matches will test the team's mettle and provide valuable experience. It's a great opportunity for the players to grow and improve.After that, on February 23, the Bulldogs host Middle Tennessee in their first of three home competitions. This will be a crucial time for the team as they look to build momentum and gain confidence.

March Madness for the Bulldogs

March begins with the Bulldogs playing host to Troy and UAB on March 1 and 2. These home matches will be a great boost for the team's morale. They will then travel to Jackson, Mississippi from March 7 to 9 for a trio of conference matches against Southern University, Bethune-Cookman, and Grambling State. This will be a tough stretch, but the team is ready to rise to the challenge.On March 14, AAMU returns to their home courts to host Clark Atlanta. The rivalry with Alabama State on March 16 in Montgomery, Alabama will add an extra layer of excitement. After that, they face three consecutive SWAC matches from March 28 to 30 against Florida A&M, Prairie View A&M, and Alcorn State.

April on the Road

April sees four road contests for the Bulldogs. Starting on April 2 against Tennessee State and then facing Jackson State three days later. These matches will be a test of their endurance and ability to perform on the road.The Bulldogs will also battle at Western Kentucky on April 10 and travel to Tuskegee on April 12. In the only home match of the month on April 11, they welcome UT Southern.

SWAC Championships

The SWAC Championships will take place from April 18 to 20 in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is the ultimate goal for the team as they strive for championship glory.
