McNeese Baseball: Home and Away
The McNeese Cowboys will kick off the season at Joe Miller Ballpark, also known as “The Jeaux.” They'll host two non-conference series, facing Wichita State from February 14-16 and Oakland from February 21-23. The Oakland series marks the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Wichita State last played in Lake Charles during opening weekend in 2018. Conference play begins early, with McNeese taking on Nicholls on the last day of February. This year, they'll travel to UTRGV for the first time since 2007 and host Stephen F. Austin, which rejoined the Southland Conference over the summer. The Cowboys have a packed non-conference lineup, including games against Texas A&M, UL-Lafayette, Dillard, Mississippi Valley State, Southern, Alcorn, LSU, Louisiana Christian, and Houston. The matchup against Dillard will be a historic first meeting.

McNeese Softball: Tournaments and Rivals
The McNeese Cowgirls have a busy schedule filled with exciting tournaments and games. They'll host two tournaments at home, welcoming big-name teams like Tennessee, Missouri State, Tulsa, Nicholls, Houston, Ole Miss, and Missouri-Kansas City. They'll also compete in the Tarleton State Tournament from February 6-8 and head to Auburn for a tournament from February 28 to March 2. During opening weekend, they'll face Tarleton State, Bucknell, and Marist. Later, they'll take on UL-Lafayette, Auburn, and Rutgers. Seven of the teams on this year's schedule played in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, including Tennessee, which made it to the Super Regionals. Other tournament teams include Ole Miss, UL-Lafayette, Auburn, South Alabama, LSU, and Southeastern.
