Prepare for Championship Glory with Lehigh's Spring Tennis Schedule

Home Matches at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center

Lehigh kicks off the 2025 season in their own backyard, hosting four consecutive matches at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center. The first match on February 2 against Rider sets the tone, followed by a highly anticipated visit from BYU on February 8. The weekend of February 15-16 sees Sacred Heart and Mount St. Mary's making their way to Bethlehem. Rounding out the month, the team travels to Colgate for a Patriot League road trip on February 23 and welcomes FDU for a home match on February 26. These home matches provide a great platform for the Mountain Hawks to showcase their skills and build team morale.

Having the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center as their home base gives the team a familiar and comfortable environment. It allows them to focus on their game and prepare thoroughly for the upcoming challenges. The fans also get a chance to witness the team's progress up close and cheer them on.

The atmosphere during these home matches is electric, with the crowd's support adding an extra dimension to the players' performances. It creates a sense of unity and motivation within the team, knowing that they have the backing of their home fans.

Spring Break Trips and Away Matches

During spring break from March 9-12, the Mountain Hawks travel to Texas to face tough opponents like Baylor, Abilene Christian, and SMU. This away trip provides a different challenge and an opportunity for the team to test their skills against some of the best in the region.

Playing in different locations exposes the players to new playing conditions and opponents. It helps them adapt and improve their game, making them more versatile and prepared for any situation.

The team's performance during these away matches also showcases their ability to compete on the road and handle the pressure of playing in unfamiliar environments. It builds their confidence and prepares them for the more crucial Patriot League matches.

Patriot League Play and Key Rivalries

After spring break, the Mountain Hawks begin their Patriot League play with a road trip to Duquesne on March 22 and a match against Saint Francis on March 23. Midweek, they face Villanova at home on March 26.

Patriot League play is always intense, as the teams battle it out for the championship. These matches are crucial for the Mountain Hawks as they look to establish themselves as a force in the league.

One of the key rivalries for Lehigh is The Rivalry against Lafayette College on April 9. This match holds special significance and brings out the best in both teams. It is a battle that the players look forward to every year.

Regular Season Finale and Patriot League Championships

Lehigh concludes the regular season at home on April 12 with a doubleheader against Bucknell and Holy Cross. This gives the team one last chance to prove themselves before the Patriot League Championships.

The regular season finale is a time for the team to come together and give their all. It is a chance to build on the momentum from the previous matches and set the stage for the championships.

The Patriot League Championships, which will take place on the campus of Bucknell University from April 17-20 in Lewisburg, Pa., will be the ultimate test for the Mountain Hawks. It is a chance for them to compete for the championship and bring glory to the university.
