New Plush Toys by Turf Stars: Famous Racehorses in Toy Form
2024-11-29
Racing has always held a special place in the hearts of many. Now, Turf Stars has taken this passion to a whole new level with the launch of a remarkable new line of plush figures. These toys are meticulously crafted to resemble famous racehorses, down to the details of their saddle cloths in the colors of each horse's silks.

Behind the Venture

According to a report from Thoroughbred Daily News, racing presenter, writer, and breeder Sally Ann Grassick is at the helm of this exciting venture. In an interview with TDN, Grassick expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "I have been working on Turf Stars for the past two years and I am overjoyed to finally see it launched. My love for racing is boundless, and I am thrilled to share these incredible racing legends with the public."

The First Toy - Honeysuckle

The first toy released by Turf Stars is the star jumping mare Honeysuckle. This remarkable mare achieved remarkable success between 2018 and 2023, winning 17 out of her 19 starts, including an impressive 13 at the Grade 1 level. Trained by Henry de Bromhead, Honeysuckle made history when she won the Mares' Hurdle (G1) at Cheltenham in 2023. After her victory, she retired and welcomed her first foal, a Walk in the Park filly, in 2024. The attention to detail in the Honeysuckle plush figure is truly remarkable, capturing every aspect of her on-track glory.

Fan Engagement - The Poll

Turf Stars has taken fan engagement to heart by creating a poll on its website. Fans now have the opportunity to vote for future racehorses that they would like to see in plush form. This interactive feature allows fans to feel a part of the Turf Stars journey and have a say in which racing legends will be brought to life as plush toys. It showcases the company's commitment to connecting with its fan base and creating a sense of community around the brand.

Quality and Craftsmanship

The plush figures produced by Turf Stars are not just toys; they are a testament to the company's dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Each figure is made with the utmost care, using high-quality materials to ensure durability and a soft touch. The attention to detail in the design and construction is evident, from the accurate representation of the horse's coat patterns to the intricate saddle cloths. These plush figures are not only a source of joy for children but also a collectible item for racing enthusiasts. They serve as a reminder of the great racehorses that have graced the tracks and bring a piece of racing history into the homes of fans around the world.
